The Cabin is a remote 1958 original homestead cabin that is 100% solar powered that islocated 20 mins from the west entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and about 15 minutes to downtown Joshua Tree, CA. This is a place for dreamers to reset, reflect, and create. Designed with a 'slow' pace in mind, our hope is that you enjoy every part of your stay; from making local coffee by drip in the morning, choosing the perfect record to put on as the sun sets, or by being surrounded by open desert views, wildlife, and a starry sky.
This tiny home is 424sq ft which includes a Queen size bedroom nook, full bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, and a living room with a wood burning fireplace.The cabin is perfectfor a couple, two friends, or a small family utilizing the built-in sofa as a bed for one to two small children. It also has a cowboy pool.
We hope you love staying at the cabin as much as we do! During your staythe cabin will be your private oasis. Feel free to explore the fenced-in land surrounding the cabin as well asthe copper mountains and hiking trails that begin to the south just at the end of the road.

Sweet escape
I went on a solo escape to the beautiful JT Cabin. It was curated perfectly and so cozy. The sunsets and warm winds just soothed my big city soul. Close to town to get your rations or visit the shops and restaurants /bars - but far away and private enough to feel you are truly out in it. But everything you need for a perfect little escape ☀️

Where do I even begin? This was our first family vacation with our 8 month old daughter and it did not disappoint. Rich and Sara are absolute master-minds when it comes to interior spaces — no detail is overlooked :) We've stayed in a few of their rentals and they are all so warm, considered, and special. You feel like you're at a friends house. This adorable little homestead was a blast — we cooked in the incredibly equipped kitchen thats surrounded by windows/desert views, watched the sun go down on the porch (while listening to the coyotes howling in the boulders, wow!), listened to records, dipped our toes in the stock-tank, laid in the sun.... we will 100% be back <3
