JTH Tucson is a small inn lovingly nicknamed Posada, immersed in nature and available for overnight stays. The inn is made up of six private suites as well as over 5,000 sq ft of communal areas for all guests to enjoy. The unique nature of this inn allows us to offer self check-in for a private and immersive experience, while also having an on-site manager available for any questions or assistance you may need during your stay. Your private suite is designed to feel like home upon check-in, and to further that concept you’ll find that this is not a place with a “front desk” or a laminated binder of rules upon arrival. We are so grateful to welcome guests for a relaxed experience here in the Sonoran desert, a place our small team of three also calls home.
Our rural location borders the west side of Saguaro National Park in Tucson, AZ. Situated on 40 acres of land with a forest of Saguaro cactus, native plants, and an abundance of wildlife, this is a space to reflect, reset, and create.
When booking a suite, you will also have access to the shared areas at the JTH Tucson which include: a chef's kitchen, canyon pool (solar heated and best May through September), hot tub (heated to around 100 degrees), rooftop lounge, yoga room, dining patio with a charcoal grill, fire pit (firewood is provided), and living room with a projector.
We provide a light in-room breakfast upon check-in which includes local teas, coffee, almond milk, and gluten-free nut based granola; and we highly recommend picking up groceries for other meals to bring to the inn to fully take advantage of the remote setting, chef's kitchen, and charcoal grill. We also provide private chef contacts as well as other vendor recommendations for added experiences such as massages after booking.
A few things to note:
If you're interested in booking the full space please email us ([email protected]). If you book all 6 suites independently, a buyout fee will be applied.
If you would like to do a commercial photoshoot on-site, bring a private vendor onsite for services outside of our recommended vendors list, or plan on hosting an event such as an elopement or wedding please let us know in advance as this affects pricing.
An incidental fee of $250/room per night may be charged for group stays of 3 or more rooms that are booked individually in an effort to maintain the quiet nature of the inn. For a group buyout with full privacy, please see the JTH Tucson listing.

The Inn is bordering Saguaro National Park West. The closest airport is Tucson International Airport TUS (45 minutes), & Phoenix PHX (1 hour 30 minutes). We'd recommend renting a car from the airport if you're not road tripping in to give you flexibility during your stay. Amazing amazing location and experience. JTH shows thoughtfulness in every detail of the stay, from the most delicious granola I’ve had in my life, to the views of each window, to how the rooms are laid out to make the property somehow feel both cozy but also private. Follow every single recommendation from the hosts - from the playlist to the lunch recommendations, you won’t regret it.
Posada was even better than the photos. Having followed along with the property and the owners, we knew the experience would speak to us, but it also WOWED us more than we expected. Even though the entire Inn was booked, it did not feel that way. We had plenty of privacy and quiet time and many areas of the property to have to yourself...or communal if you choose to mingle with other guests. The views are breath-taking and almost unobstructed. We rode our bikes around Saguaro Park West and the surrounding area, enjoyed the pools, cooked meals, and relaxed by the fireplace drinking wine. The on-sight hosts were super attentive and we had the pleasure of meeting them in person which emphasized the constant attention given to the property. As hosts ourselves, we have a high standard for cleanliness and thoughtful design details and Pasado delivered. We live in downtown Tucson, but this property felt like a true getaway and we hope this can be a new year-end tradition for us.
JTH Tuscon is incredible! My family and I recently stayed here during our first trip to Tucson and we had an amazing time. Every detail of this space was thoughtfully designed, curating a restful, inspiring, and invigorating experience. We loved spending our evenings in the living area playing board games and watching movies on the projector screen. As a fellow Airbnb host, we were grateful to stay in such a beautiful space and appreciate everything Courtney, Rich and Sara did to provide us with a 5-star experience!
This was our third time at the JTH Tucson, and it was as wonderful as the first two! This time we stayed in the Ocotillo Suite, and it was great. So peaceful, beautifully appointed, very comfortable bed, and loved the access to the upstairs terrace. Thanks again to Rich, Sara, and Courtney for such an amazing experience!
This was my second time stating at JTH Tucson. I’ve stayed at a ton of Airbnbs & hotels around the world, and this is my favorite place! It feels like a private resort. The moment you enter the Posada you are embraced with a lovely scent paired with a beautiful aesthetic and the feeling of tranquility sets in. It continues into the rooms in every detail. It’s all very well decorated and thoughtfully curated. The room contains everything you need and then some. There is (delicious) granola, coffee, almond milk, tea, and water for you to enjoy. The beds are insanely comfortable!! Robes, a fireplace, & even a JTH Spotify playlist are just some of the extras that really makes this place special. The grounds are beautiful and contain many spaces for you to relax & enjoy. The inn is right at the edge of the Saguaro National Park, so the scenery is breathtaking and there are many close hikes nearby. I will be back! Thank you Sara, Rich, & Courtney!
This place exceeded all my expectations. It was in such a beautiful location and incredibly peaceful. The rooms were very comfortable and Sarah and Rich were so welcoming. It’s remote enough that you definitely feel away from the daily hustle and bustle of everyday life but close enough to catch a great meal in town. We were lucky enough to visit when the cactus were blooming and it was magical. Would definitely opt to have the private chef tasting as well. Also close to hikes (start early!)
This is an outstanding property! As an architect with a deep working knowledge of Biophilic Design, I must say that the attention to design details throughout the property -colors, textures, textiles, building materials and landscaping - details that that connect the property to place - are very well executed. This property belongs in this bioregion and encourages guests to fully immerse in desert life. The property contains numerous different spaces - indoors and out - allowing guests to select a more communal setting or privacy.
Another wonderful place by Sara and Rich. Just awesome. Beautiful, remote setting in the desert. You don’t want to leave when you get there. Make sure you bring your groceries and drinks with you so you don’t have to drive into town. And don’t forget your swim suits! We Can’t wait to return. If you do want to explore Tucson and the surrounding area, Sara and Rich have detailed many spots to check out. And special thanks to Geneva for helping with our reservation last minute. Super responsive.
Wow. Wow. Wow. This is an incredible property and a luxe experience in and of itself. The location is stunning and serene, situated 25 minutes outside of Tucson adjacent to Saguaro National Park, and the property itself is private and surrounded by cacti and mountain views (with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets). We stayed in the Ocotillo family suite which was very roomy, comfortable and well appointed with easy access to the roof, yoga studio and fire pit. While it was too cool use the pool in January, we visited the hot spring (which is really a hot tub) daily and cooked meals in the shared kitchen. Every room in the inn itself is insta-perfect with many thoughtful touches. Highly recommend hiring chef Ezra to cook a locally inspired meal and taking advantage of the scenic hikes nearby. Stop in town for groceries, S'mores supplies and local Mezcal on your way in and spend a day in town visiting the MSA Annex (great restaurants and local shops). The property manager Geneva is lovely, responsive and keeps everything sparkling clean and well supplied. Don't miss this gem - we can't wait to return.
The Posada is such a special place. The Ocotillo suit was perfect for my group of 4! I truly appreciated every detail of this space and the amenities! There are so much space to relax with amazing views of the Saguaro landscape! Came to relax with family and celebrate my birthday which just so happen to land on the rare occasion of rain in Tuscon. Even with cold wind and rain the Posada was magical. The hot springs and outdoor fire pit were a perfect way to end a cold winter day! Thank you again!
